While the rest of the internet argues about Sydney Sweeneys near nude advert for sports trading app Novig, Buckingham Palace has, unsurprisingly, said absolutely nothing, which is roughly the correct amount for an American celebrity endorsement scandal involving a betting app.
Still, royal watchers note the timing is awkward, landing in the same news cycle as several rather more dignified public engagements. The contrast, unintentional as it is, has not gone unnoticed by the tabloids.
