London holds one genuine advantage over many other major world capitals for budget-conscious visitors: several of its very best attractions cost nothing at all to enter, a fact worth building your itinerary around rather than treating as a mere bonus alongside the paid sites.

Markets themselves, even if you don’t buy anything, offer a genuinely worthwhile free experience, Borough Market, Camden Market, and Columbia Road Flower Market on Sundays all provide a real, immersive sense of London life that costs nothing beyond your travel there and whatever you choose to actually purchase once you arrive.
